there used to be an online shop where you could buy Elysian whips. those let you keep the pegasus when promoting. also they'd gain swords instead of axes as a secondary weapon and gain res instead of lose it, but they had lower atk and def. but now the shop is gone so you'd need a cheat device or memory editor in an emulator to do it.
