I'm considering boycotting Amazon for the same reason.

This is a surprise. What did I miss?

Amazon workers are often overworked and abused. They have ridiculous targets for productivity, to the point where some people in the warehouses and drivers are peeing in bottles because their timed toilet breaks don't allow them to use a restroom properly. They get breaks, but restrooms and break rooms are far from their work areas. They don't take sick leave seriously. They also underpay people. Some warehouses require employees to go through security when they leave, and there are long lines which employees are not paid to go through. There are many more questionable labor practices - I know a few people that have worked or considered working for them and I've heard many things from them.

The problem with Amazon is that it's so big now that it's almost impossible to boycott them. Boycotting Walmart was easier because as far as physical stores go, you have Target, Costco, and many other stores. The only real alternative to Amazon is a bunch of smaller sites that are specialty online stores (Newegg for example), or have everything but getting ripped off is way easier (eBay).
