| Zachnorn 07/17/18 4:17:08 PM #59: | I guess it explains how Amazon has grown so rapidly. They don't want to be "profitable" so they don't pay taxes, instead going for expansion. I can definitely see the argument for changing the tax code so Amazon has to pay federal taxes. Personally, I wish Amazon would give some more of its profit to its employees. I'm not talking about Bezos, I'm talking about the people in their warehouses, their drivers, and the thousands of others that make it all work. Not just in terms of pay either, but also things that involve better treatment. Sadly though, that's just not the American way. In fact, I saw an article a few months back saying that some Amazon workers in Europe feel that Amazon's standards, and American standards by extension, are more in line with the industrial revolution than today. --- <D ...
