DPsx7 can't figure out a game that millions of other people have figured out: "It's the game's fault!"

I didn't want to sit through an online walkthrough. Besides, having a lot of players doesn't save it.

Point wasn't how many people played BB as much as how many people played it and figured it out for themselves. Many played BB without a guide and got on just fine. But please, tell us more about how developers should tailor their games to fit snugly around your inadequacies.

'Many' isn't a very clear number. If you want to waste days trying to figure out a game then great. I have way too much else to play to fart away a week on 'world 1'. If I wanted a puzzle game I'd have chosen something else.

Don't get me wrong it's not that I support the extra hand-holding some games offer. I started on the NES and can appreciate tougher games. However I'm not going to write excuses for a poorly designed game that decided to be vague not for challenge but just to be annoying. At least if it was linear then I'd have something to work with. Here you just go in circles, not making ANY kind of progress for my effort. All I managed was buying armor, stockpile potions for a game that never started, and earn ammo for a gun that did absolutely nothing. No maps, no items, no NPC's, no online, no levels, no fun.

My guess is this game launched during a time where people wanted to brag about it versus what XB had. XB never had anything and BB wasn't good enough to ever brag about. And it takes a special kind of dud for me to put a game away before seeing the credits. I'm talking like less than 5% of games I start.
