I just finished it and yeah it being in 3D was not great. I ended up just spamming certain sleights (mostly Sonic Blade and Ars Arcanum) against bosses and blizzaga against everything else. Helps if you go through the 358/2 Days cutscenes first as that puts an extra card in each Room of Rewards.
