Darktower's first book (which I didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to) Interesting, it makes me feel better about me thinking the first book is really garbage and confusing. But there ARE really COOL scenes. Like seeing the slow mutants or the shoot fest or the demon ghost succubus thing. The fight of how he used his hawk/eagle. That was all cool. But the shit in between is so confusing. How did the succubus work? There was so much description, and yet I couldn't tell if it was invisible, ethereal, physically, psychically, telekinetically sexually assaulting them. All that shit pissed me off.
