4 tons, 4 TONS of bite-force.

Strong enough to crush through the bones of dinosaurs around them, the T-Rex was not a force to be reckoned with.

If you do not want to read through the article, they basically compared crocs to models of dinosaurs to understand what the bite-force of the T-Rex may be, and this is what was produced. In the end, the T-Rex, while mighty, would not hold a candle to the ancestors of today's crocodiles, who could bite down with a force of 18,000 pounds. Yikes.

Still, the T-Rex's bite was deadlier than just being strong enough to crush bone! If you got bit, but found yourself lucky enough, or perhaps unlucky enough, to survive its devestating bite, then there is a chance you would die from infection caused by the bite. The Mighty Tyrant of Rexes, eating all kinds of meat infested by bacteria had traces of bacteria in their teeth, most likely from the rotting meat that would just stick around. This bacteria had a great chance to infect you and kill you. After you die, the t-rex would be able to smell you from miles away and get its dinner in the end afterall.
