All they had to do was make a light hearted show with a few serious moment and a recast of a couple characters (Starfire looks like a damn hooker and Beast Boy is a Twitch streamer) and it would have been PERFECT. Legends of Tomorrow isn't dark and gritty, and it's amazing Its the only show that embraces the lighthearted campiness.
