It surrounded itself in an aura, so I thought okay gotta break it right away, but then I broke it (not easy given its weaknesses and my team structure and its 9 shields), the aura stayed up and then I died two turns later. It occurs to me there's a tactic I probably could've used that might've cheesed it a bit, but I'll just try again later. --- BK_Sheikah?
