You do have to be in a position of authority to modify another's behaviour. Being a fucking stranger, she was in no position to demand anything of him and had no reason to believe she held such authority. It is appropriate to challenge a stranger who thinks they're above you. Bugmeat posted... Maybe she should have just ignored him. But that doesn't even matter. All she said was "excuse me, there are children around you" his reaction was to tell her to fuck off and insult her kids. That's how trashy people behave. Seriously low class. So? He overreacted but she gave something to legitimately react to. Everybody's wrong but at the very least he was right to respond, which certainly suits the criteria for the poll. --- Scloud posted...
