actually Zeus did fight when he was young. Zeus is the son of another god that he deposed. his own father. he either killed him or threw him into this pit in the earth or something like that. it's one of the less talked about parts of the myths. but I remember watching a documentary on history channel about greek myths and they covered it. I think it was Saturn. yea, Saturn is his dad I think. and he ends up battling him and then taking over.

You're mixing Greek w/ Roman names.

It was Cronos, not Saturn.

And yeah, he fought in that war. Though what fighting he did beyond lobbing lightning bolts i don't know. The Cyclopes and Hundred-Handed Ones probably did most of the work for Zeus's side, really.
