Quite easily actually. I was listening to my music first so unless it's an emergency I'm not stopping.
You just like hearing noise, i find it hard to imagine that you can really enjoy a song, whilst having a conversation with someone.

if you had two different songs playing in each earphone you wouldn't have double the enjoyment, you'd just hear crap, it's the same for trying to talk to someone and listen to a song. Or perhaps I'm not so socially inept that I think it's acceptable to give someone half my attention.
