Topic	Nintendo doesn't have acheievements

I don't know what it is, but I typically don't feel motivated to play a game to its potential (like fully explore every facet of the content) without them. If the game really grabs my attention then I will, but that's rare. Even going back and playing some old games that I loved where I would always try to find all the secrets, it doesn't feel rewarding now. Which sucks because it should be about immersing yourself in the experience, not actively trying to achieve pointless side goals.
