I feel like it will result in a sad ending for a lot of players. I can't imagine anybody will say no to a second chance so every player will go to Extinction Island. So a few things will happen. They will give a bit too much food so it's not that hard and *everyone* sticks around, which sounds like a bit of a failure of a concept. Or they give barely any food and things become quite desperate for everyone, as people eventually start "dying off" due to hunger and quitting. If the intention is to have most players quit because of this,then those players will always have that disappointment that they gave up. They didn't lose the game by getting outplayed at a competition or were socially voted out - they just didn't have the fortitude to keep going and quit. That's pretty sad for those players... because it's not really true. ---
