To be clear, I'm not trying to "vouch" for the game. I don't give a shit if you like the game or not. Plenty of people dislike Bloodborne. It's not for everyone. My own brother isn't crazy about Bloodborne, but at least he's smart enough to realize that it's a well-made, well-designed game. And he's competent enough to have made it through a few bosses before he gave up and decided the game wasn't quite to his liking. If you had said that you found Bloodborne to be boring, or that you didn't enjoy the combat, or didn't appreciate the progression system, etc etc... those are all valid complaints based on opinion, of which you are entitled.

Where you are wrong - and make no mistake, you are wrong - is in your assertion that the game is poorly designed. Heck, had you said that the game design was not to your liking, that would've been fine. That's a matter of personal taste.

What is not a matter of taste, however, is the quality of the game's design. The game is well-designed. It's a pretty solid game, over all.

That you can't even manage to find a single boss or figure out how to meaningfully progress in the game speaks to your ineptitude more than it does to the quality of the game.

That I don't complete a larger percentage of the games that I play in comparison to you is not germane to this discussion. We're talking about one game: Bloodborne. For the record, I buy a lot of games. Have very little time to play them. Often, I'll play a game for an hour or so, see if I like it. If it doesn't hold my interest, I'll move on. Might come back to it later. Might not. Aside from this, we don't know what percentage of games you don't complete, because you won't share your PSN, and even if you were to share it, you conveniently have it set to not show games in your collection that are sitting at 0%. But this is all irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Stay focused, son.

I bolded the part that I did because it's true. No argument that you've made so far makes this untrue. I'm not reposting this to "save face", I'm doing so because it still stands to reason, with each and every post you've made thus far. So, once again:

Far-Queue posted...
Nothing you've said makes this untrue:

When you claim that you can't find a single boss after hours of play, you're terrible at the game. You can't blame the game design. You can deny it all you want, but it's true. It's fine if you dislike the game. But claiming the game is designed poorly just because you're incapable of doing what thousands, if not millions, of others have done is just a s*** excuse. The game itself, while not perfect, is designed well enough to have earned accolades from critics and gamers alike. You're too inept to figure the game out.

Your singular experience doesn't define the quality of the product. Even if there are others who are so inept as you are, to the point where they can't even find a single boss to fight, there is most certainly a majority who played the game and got along just fine.
