Here's what we know about this series, with comments about what we don't:
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer is returning. Is that the title of the series, is this a reboot, or is it just a new series taking place in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe? We don't know.
- A black woman is playing the lead character. Is she playing Buffy Summers, the titular character of the original series, or is her character's name even Buffy? We don't know.
- Monica Owusu-Breen is a writer and executive producer.
- Joss Whedon is an executive producer.

So, if everybody could calm down a tad about "recasting", "character changes to force diversity", or "reboots", that would be great.
