Like, at least vote trading, anyone can do it and it still specifically involves the people who actively participate. And if the people who you called in do decide to participate in these contests from now on, that's great, the more the merrier. It's just kinda unfun for people who have been playing for the majority of the game when you bring in people who haven't even been playing specifically to vote for your character.
