I recently got my hands on the series. I gave up after a few episodes. Simply because the brother constantly protesting everything annoyed me. And I'm rarely picky about minor details like that. He ruined it for me. I'll eventually give it more time. Sokka gets a lot of growth over the course of the series. All of the characters do. He's someone who is thrusted into a world that he knows little to nothing about, and it takes time for him to adapt, but he eventually does, and becomes one of the best characters in the whole show. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter?
