We're obviously gonna need more for them to REALLY sell it, but I could kind of see why for someone who was as cartoonishly obsessed with being Number 1 and surpassing All Might....being on the other side of it finally could also somewhat dramatically alter him as well. It's an EXTREMELY fine line of being able to write a character like that without it coming off as crass and ignorant. This chapter did a decent enough job to start that though I think.
