Okay, a lot just happened in Tales of Xillia. Here goes...

Maxwell is a terrible parent if he's going to convince his daughter of all kinds of lies and use her as a cog in his machine. Both of his daughters, really. It's no wonder Muzet turned on him. But what do she and Gaius hope to accomplish here? It certainly can't be as ridiculous as Jude wanting to "save everyone" - Maxwell was RIGHT that Jude's actions would bring about the end of the world.

And now we're in Elympios with Alvin's cousin. Apparently... Dr. Mathis lived here!? So Jude is half-Elympian? Does that mean that Jude's dad got that aspyrixis - which is just being called a spyrix now because it is - from Exodus? Suspicious. He does seem to be the usual type of asshole that comes from the place, though.

I still think Jude should have just let Elympios destroy itself. Because Elympios ATTACKED Rieze Maxia and, if they attacked again, it would kill hundreds of people. It's genocide. What's interesting is that Elympios seems to be really high-tech and while that brings about medical advancements, the greedy use it for purposes that destroy everyone, even them. The game's message is clearly about working together and using technology for the greater good, not for greedy purposes like many of this game's villains have done.

Odd that Maxwell wasn't the final boss but, hey... that means more game for me! Playing more now.
