forced diversity doesn't work?

Like genres don't necessarily mesh together but have similarities to the point that things like festivals can have variety

It just works without much conscious thought and what all music has in common is that it's generally unassuming in nature, like good music has no ego attached to it.

Like take a band like pavement. They have a song called range life. It's pretty much a country song but they're the indie indie band. It works cus music doesn't necessarily have an attachment to anyone it can reach anyone

So like forced diversity doesn't work. It's the equivalent of music snobs who are 2kool4school. Like people are people so why not treat them as such and not as groups, no need to attach stupid genres to life.

I'm drunk so it's all jumbled but I do have a point I think...
