There's so many posisbly future candidates we need to see if they are viable options next year and we won't know because they've had all their playing time stolen from them. Happens on the pitching side too. They constantly go to their more established (still bad) relievers rather than one of the 80 AAA "ML Ready" guys they got last year in their never-ending bevy of expiring contract salary dumps Yes most fans are. The Wilpons are driven by nothing other than a desire for ego and money, fueled by their own stupdity. They do not care about the team at all. They are 100% fine with lying to fans about everything and stealing money from the team and claiming they're trying to be competitive next year(every year) and then literally every other single they do is counteractive to that notion.
