If I attend a raid (I don't anymore because again, what's the point) I hardly ever even get to my 3rd Pokmon before the boss falls. Dodging is your friend. Dodging is difficult during legendary raids and there's a dodge glitch which ensures that certain attacks will you hit you regardless. And, if you're going with a large group, you finish fast no matter what.
