Considering the two provinces in the north are desolate frozen wastelands and a bunch of the ones in the Atlantic are tiny, this is hardly a surprise. It would be like finding out most of American lives in California and Texas, rather than Alaska and Rhode Island. Incidentally, there are 323 million in the US. The 10 most populous states (less than Canada's 25%) have 165 million.
