Before the first match in the title tournament, we get some time to meet the competitors. JACKIE SATO we have already met, which is good because she cuts her quickie promo in Japanese. VELVET MACINTYRE is happy to be here, and hope the fans will be happy with her matches! MADUSA MICELLI is the woman to beat, because these two jokers don't measure up. (29; Velvet's Happy-Go-Lucky gets 97; Madusa's Diva WIth An Attitude gets 91) This is contested under triple threat rules, with the winner advancing to the title match. All three get in some spots, but it's Velvet MacIntyre who walks away with a rollup victory over the overconfident Madusa. (43) Sheik and Koloff take out Koko B. Ware backstage just to beat up an American. (35) Muraco beats Leon White in a decent brawl. (66) Jerry Blackwell bench presses Jim Powers for no discernible reason. (51) Death and Taxes defeat Al Snow and Mike Rotundo. (64) Snuka and Jones think countout is a lame way to win, but Future Perfect claim it's not their fault they couldn't beat a ten count! (57) 6-man tag time: Rheingans teams up with Steamboat and Michaels in a winning effort over Tenryu and Style & Substance. (74) Cap'n Lou approaches Ventura. He proposes that Sika be added to the NWA Title match! Ventura isn't quite sold on Sika as a contender. Albano apologizes for wording it like a request, and Sika bashes Ventura from behind! (57) The main event is Flair and Jake against Tully and Razor. Flair gets a measure of vengeance by tapping out Razor, but the question lingers of who hired him. (80) ....Jake hits a DDT on Flair, and Razor gives him a few stomps! That solves that, I guess. (62) Overall: 77 MIXED --- Look at all those chickens I can be impulsive!
