Pretty much the only reason Vincent makes this list is because he's so naturally cool and edgey, but unlike a fuckton of other "edgey" and "cool" characters, Vincent has the added bonus of being an optional, unlockable party member. Unlike 7/9 of the party in FF7, you can completely skip Vincent, and only miss some minor plot that's solely related to him. So when you DO go out of your way to pick Vincent up, it actually feels like a cool accomplishment. His aesthetic of that of a vampire is pretty awesome, with the golden claw and the vampire hunter gunslinging, and he's even got a cool name to go with all that awesome design stuff.
