Ugh; I screwed up pretty hard. I caught a Ho-Oh and wanted to give it a better fast move. Spent four of my six TM's on it, and it just kept cycling through the same two attacks. If I had bothered to check online, I would have seen that those were the only two fast moves Ho-Oh has. (In my defense, why the hell does it only have those two, neither of which are actually its type??)

Then I wanted to use some Rare Candy for Ho-Oh... unfortunately I'm so used to managing my inventory by throwing things away, my muscle memory caused me to throw away twenty Rare Candy. (Honestly, that shouldn't even be an option for that particular item. It can always be used at any time.)
