7. Washington Redskins (7-7)
8. Dallas Cowboys (7-7)
9. Detroit Lions (6-8)
10. San Francisco 49ers (6-8)
11. Carolina Panthers (6-8)
12. Los Angeles Bears (6-8)

Eliminated from Playoff Contention
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-8-1)
14. Minnesota Vikings (5-9)
15. Toronto Wildcats (4-9-1)
16. Las Vegas Pumpkins (3-11)

- Packers clinch 1st round bye and #2 seed with a win or Giants loss
- If the Giants have truly clinched a playoff spot like Madden claims, then they win the division with a win or Cowboys loss (Cowboys can tie divisional record and win on tiebreakers if they win out and Giants lose out)
- Falcons win NFC South with a win over the Lightning
- Seahawks earn a wild card with a win and losses by both the Cowboys and Redskins
- Panthers and Bears are eliminated with a loss + Falcons win

It is possible that there are elimination scenarios for the 49ers and Lions as well, but they aren't as apparent to me.
