And use a good chunk of the money to pay for utilities and taxes or whatever on the house for a few years. Same with the car insurance for the car. And even got him a card specifically for gas. And then a bunch of food. That would have allowed him to get settled. And if they did that, he could have fixed himself up, and use some of the money for nice clothes.
