Once you reach a certain age, you should have an actual career path in mind, and being a burger flipper at McDonalds isn't a wise career path. Minimum wage jobs are indeed entry level jobs however some do offer career progression and they are not just just aimed at young people. Perhaps you want a change in career, perhaps you don't want a career at all because you'll be board of being stuck in the same job so you drift around. Who knows the circumstances and why folk may take these jobs? Also one would argue a person working a minimum wage job works the hardiest because they know they are easy to replace in a quite a few cases. The bottom line is however it pays and you know some of it is actually enjoyable so I see nothing to be ashamed about.
