I saw it before I heard - I could see the smoke rising from the buildings rising on the horizon, and I was like, "What's that? Must be some sort of fire over there." Then after hearing what was actually going on, I spent a lot of the rest of the day like everyone else, trying to call into the city to see if the people I knew there were okay. I was getting most of the news over the radio while at work that day.
