I don't recall what was going on in first period, but I didn't know anything about it until I walked into the gym for second period and people were talking about whether it was some kind of conspiracy. We watched TV the whole class and more or less got up to speed. My English teacher's son worked at the Pentagon, and by English class she was already gone to check up on him. Turned out he didn't survive. Then somehow rumors got twisted around and there was talk of a gas shortage in my town.
