He will start today's battle in Metal Gear Sahelanthropus, but upon being defeated, Sahelanthropus will instead explode harmlessly, being replaced by a spontaneously appearing Metal Gear REX. This process will repeat again for the HIND-D, and then the MGS1 Jeep. Only once Liquid sustains fatal damage while riding the Jeep and is left to fight unarmed on foot will he finally stay down for good.
