I don't really think it's that bad in anime, which is totally different from real life (I enjoy characters who murder people in anime, but I think murder is wrong IRL), and on top of that, it's not really that bad in real life. The genetic issues are way overblown, so long as you're not doing it for generations. But uh, yeah, it doesn't bother me at all.
