I thought it was neat you can press the A Button to go in the opposite direction (go backwards and scrolling the screen to the left) to either go back if you missed something or to avoid getting crushed via screen scroll from an obstacle. Most of the levels were reasonably short and the boss fights were really easy except for Don Karnage.
