Topic	Got a SNES Classic and decided to give FF6 another chance. No spoilers.

If you're referring to the ~~World of Ruin~~, you'll in fact be overleveled for ~~Kefka's Tower after you do the quests to recruit all the party members~~ unless you've been actively trying to not overlevel yourself. Obviously if you try to do it first you'll be underleveled, but that's just normal soft-gating.
