Topic	Anybody here still into Power Metal?

Saw them twice when they passed through my town. Once was with Dragonforce I think. I saw them in mine the last time - I think the support band was Labyrinth, but it's been a while. I remember Laby. Their newer stuff was too different for me. I tend more toward gothic & symphonic/melodic metal, tbh. Seeing Within Temptation again in November, and the last metal gig I was at before that was Lacuna Coil's 20th anniversary special in London back in January - the one they filmed for the DVD they're releasing in a couple of months. I've tried a lot and some work for me, some don't. Melodic metal is good, maybe a bit of speed too. Then although I say the growly stuff isn't for me at least bands like Devildriver, Children of Bodom, or Parasite Inc have a good enough sound to look past it.
