Well maybe you should have fucking told Square not to start development on FFVIII when Xenogears is already halfway done. FFVIII was the game they didn't have the funds for. Grouping these together since it is the number 1 misconception about Xenogears. The second disc of Xenogears isn't the way it is because of funding or FFVIII. It is because at the time Xenogears was being made Square had a rule that all projects must finish in 2 years. And also because 90% of the development staff on Xenogears was fresh, young talent that had to taught and nurtured at the same time as making the game. Also, for someone who claims to be a fan and defender of Xenogears I am a little disappointed in you, fenderbender321 for not having this information.
