@underleveled We dont know but i expect to keep the ongoing plots at a more season 18 or 21 level where it doesn't really affect the a plot as much and leaves room for a few standalone stories. In a way this new episode might even be a sort of continuation of the whole cartman/heidi breakup plot twist from last seasons finale, since breakups has been known to drive people to murder(and i think the parkland shooter was recently dumped by his ex gf shortly before the tragic event) and i can see cartman doing something insane like this.
