| Topic | I'm curious about Dragon Ball Super. I hear it sucks |
| KlRBEH 09/24/18 10:33:47 PM #17: | Super is the definition of wasted potential. It has a lot of very cool concepts but it falls flat on pretty much all of them. Battle of Gods the movie is excellent (Just skip Super's retelling of the movie, it's really really bad) Revival of F is really stupid but it at least looks amazing (Also skip Super's retelling of this movie, it's even worse than the retelling of Battle of Gods) Universe 6 arc is a very cool concept but the U6 characters are really fucking lame other than Hit Future Trunks arc is a fucking train wreck but the premise could have been cool Tournament of Power has some very cool moments (best moments of Super) and the art style is way better but it's very drawn out without much of a payout, a lot of the new characters are lame, power scaling is the worst it's ever been, and Jiren is nowhere near as cool as he could have been. Overall Super kind of sucks but if you're a big Dragon Ball fan you should probably watch it and at least skim through it. The wasted potential of Super honestly makes me dislike it more because it could have been amazing if the writers weren't so fucking incompetent and didn't rush out the show just for some quick bucks.
