ulti if someone applied for a job at whatever place you allegedly are making hiring decisions and they had multiple women accusing them of sexual assault would you hire them if they were otherwise qualified?

assume like in this situation that there are other people you could hire instead... like a bunch of other people who no one has ever accused of rape

This is why we spend 50 bucks for the best background check instead of being cheap and only doing the 20 dollar version. Turns up all state and federal crimes, misdemeanors, and formal accusations (basically getting reported to the police or someone pressing charges), and a search of the sex offender registry. Nursing is like 90% women so you dont usually see anything, but its still good to run a check.

This is why its important that people actually report sexual assaults. It absolutely will turn up on a background check. Just accusing someone doesnt do anything long term. Reporting it will.

To answer the question, if I had equally qualified candidates and one popped for sexual assault allegations, not a chance in hell I hire.
