I'm giving Chibnall's run of DW a chance because this new era deserves that much at least. All of the advertising is just BBC trying to call back the fans after the damage that Moffat had done. Should this run of DW fail, however, it might be the final (chib)nail in the show's coffin (again thanks to Moffat).

If you don't like or care for DW at all, fine, but don't expect everyone else to agree with your sentiment.

The recent changes aren't exactly the kind of thing that's going to get me back into the series. Granted, I ad-block and rarely ever watch cable so I also haven't seen any of the ads.

Just out of curiosity, which seasons supposedly soured fans on the show?
