I'm now watching the iDOLM@STER anime. After looking at the Puchimas! one.

I have also wanted to watch this one. Animation sometimes looks quality (as in, "quality") but I still love it. Only watched the first episode, but I liked it a lot.

The original one? You hadn't seen it?

I watched it originally (before doing anything else related to the series) because I heard it had catchy music sequences/catchy music in general which I love. I'd never watched anything idol related before.

The series is actually what inspired me to learn to read Japanese. After it was over, I was like "that was pretty cool, wonder what the games are like" but of course none were translated. So I thought hey, I do nothing useful with my spare time, I'll start learning. My main initial goal/motivation was actually just to play Idolm@ster but I ended up getting more into VNs. That was like... four years ago now?

I never got into anything else idol-related (like Love Live etc, or even other Idolmaster stuff other than 765), pretty sure Idolmaster is the only one I'll like. I was thinking about watching Cinderella Girls sometime though.

Upon watching the original anime for the first time, my initial favorite was actually Iori by quite a bit. But the games made me like Yayoi more.
