Heck even when you make it to the "spooky" level and meet Snatcher it is still lighthearted and fun. So you go around doing some quests getting your stuff...and then you eventually end up at the Manor. Well no big deal right? Looks like business as usual. Sure the cellar door opening, the accompanying sound, and the title card are a little ominous but hey there is one of those goofy minions there to greet you! Lets go get our time piece! You are then greeted to an utter tonal whiplash out of fucking nowhere. What had been (and will be after this point) a colorful cutsey game suddenly turns into a survival horror as you hide for your life. The Queen soon reveals herself and will proceed to stalk you around the Manor as you gather miscellaneous keys and such to get toward your goal. Along the way you are treated to weird hauntings, strange letters hinting at the Queen's past, and pretty tense moments. There are also some extra quests I think where you can collect photos which further hint at the Queen's sad history as well as other characters who may be connected to her. I think what makes this stand out so much is just how out of left field it happens. 2. Neo (Toriko Series) https://toriko.wikia.com/wiki/Neo An ancient powerful demon with an insatiable appetite. Long ago it was a simple creature but eventually became a great scourge, devouring all life in its path and laying waste to its universe. Built as the ultimate predator, it devours and consumes anything and everything in its path. However, even though this guy is damn near unstoppable and can kill / eat in a multitude of ways, it has a preferred method of doing so... Neo purposely goes about inducing the pinnacle levels of fear and horror in its victims to get the utmost tastiness out of them...and there is almost nothing you can do to stop him (note picture of dog thing or look up the parts of them detailing Neo's origins) If you fight it, it will not stop If you run, it WILL catch you If you hide, it WILL find you Days upon days it can continue this until the prey utterly loses hope / goes crazy. At this point Neo will consume them. There is other bits of info explained in the wiki that further go into what else it is capable of and how crazy it is but yeah..
