Her real strength for durability is she can customize herself to have constant regen, including passive, upon dealing damage, and upon killing. She can also essentially program i-frames into herself after taking a hit to prevent comboing, and program a time slow around her if any projectiles come close to her. It's a LOT of gameplay stuff, but it's all lore-justified gameplay stuff.
