| Underleveled 10/05/18 11:12:51 PM #340: | Finally watched this week's episode and wow this is shaping up to be a great season so far! I know I said that sarcastically every day during BB20 but I mean it right now. The editing is really on point, keeping things suspenseful AND trying out some new storytelling tricks. The cast is fantastic. I don't want to jump the gun but across the board this seems like one of the best casts in many years. The sets are wonderful. That shot of Nick gazing at the arch above the voting booth was very indicative of just how massive these sets are. The music is phenomenal. And so far it's got just the right mix of character and strategy. In a way I can't explain I feel like the poor weather contributes to that. It seems like in seasons with a lot of rain there is generally better character development. Maybe due to people getting stranded in the shelter more? I dunno. Whatever the reason, I desperately want this season to keep doing what it's doing. --- darkx ... Copied to Clipboard! |
