I will say that the anime definitely ended in the middle of the story, so if what you're thinking of comes later on then that's most likely the case. From what I remember though, Aoi Hana was mostly a lighthearted romance. There was some drama involved, but even when it was there it felt different than the drama in Citrus to me. The only way I can think to describe it is that Citrus had drama that felt like "soap opera drama" whereas Aoi Hana didn't. Can't think of a better way than that to describe it. Maybe Aoi Hana was more mellowed drama whereas Citrus was kind of just throwing in DRAMA all over the place for the sake of it. I will also say my memory of Aoi Hana is not great, so it's possible I'm just totally wrong. --- Congratulations to BK_Sheikah00, this year's guru to achieve contest enlightenment! ...
