Guess they kind of had to do it like this. It's like Fate/Zero's first episode, just executed way worse. I love both of these episodes so it might be that I just like these type of episodes more than others. Off hand I also know there was an infamous infodump episode in From the New World which everyone except me complains about, so this might indicate a trend. (Also as I said above the parts I liked in SAO were the non-infodump parts though so uh...who knows?) Yuki Kajiura was definitely on point in this episode, so that might have also been a factor. --- Congratulations to BK_Sheikah00, this year's guru to achieve contest enlightenment! ...
