I believe you're a vegan and can understand you preferring people not eating meat at all but what would you consider the "lesser of two evils" in this situation?

I don't think it's a waste

But treating animals a little more well and feeling good about that while still killing them unnecessarily because meat tastes good is like selling candy to raise money for diabetes research
