His voice had just drastically changed between their first album and that album, so he was trying to find his new vocal style and it was a little iffy at times on that album. I love the verses and the "generic metal screaming" lol but I do quite like the lyrics to the chorus and all of the stuff you said too. --- Lord have mercy on my soul, I've had a good run but I can't run anymore.
